what we do
WHO WE ARE CONTACT US

We have employed several strategies in implementing crimping mechanisms in assembly equipment. Hydraulic or air over oil driven mechanisms are required when the crimp forces are large. With smaller crimps, we prefer to use pneumatic solutions in order to avoid the maintenance complications that are inherent to hydraulic systems. The mechanism below uses an air cylinder driven wedge to achieve the required crimping force. The tooling is kept simple and compact to reduce to cost of replacement of wear parts.
