what we do
WHO WE ARE CONTACT US

As car manufactures have strived to increase quality and reduced waste, testing of subassemblies before they are shipped to the assembly plant has become common place. Our machines have error checking features designed into every aspect of their operation from part loading to unloading. Often a functional test is built right into the machine to prevent operators from circumventing the checking system. Since many of products that we deal with have an electrical or electronic component to their operation, we are proficient at integrating mechanical testing such as force measurements with electrical testing into a single test station.

The test station shown below tests the signal quality of the transmitter in an automotive remote lock controller. Power is applied to the battery terminals of the keyfob circuit board, while air cylinders coupled to sprung dampers actuate the fragile switches. The whole mechanism is surrounded by electro magnetically shielding box while the test proceeds. Due to the complexity of the electronic component of this tester, this project was a collaboration of three separate companies located in different countries. The picture to the right shows the complete machine of which the testing station is part.
